Summer is prime party season and July is the perfect month for chilling and grilling with friends outside! We love the sizzle of a hot grill and that first refreshing sip of an icy drink, whether at a cookout, block party, barbecue, beach blast, you name it!
Here are a few tips to help you party this summer, Pusheen style. Pusheen definitely knows a thing or two about partying and has inspired our guide for making the most of your biggest summer bash!
1. Find the perfect summer outfit
Any party expert knows that you should always arrive fashionably late… or just plain fashionable!
With an outdoor party, it’s important to wear an outfit that looks and feels both breezy and comfortable. This is definitely the perfect opportunity for your favorite summer shorts and a fun printed button up to make their grand debut!
Our favorite outfits this summer start with the Pusheen Party Romper from Pusheen Shop. The romper can be dressed up with sunglasses, metallic sandals, and hoop earrings or down with comfy flip flops and a sunhat. For more formal affairs, we’ve also found the Pusheen Button-Up Party Dress to be a crisp summer look for both a party-goer and welcoming host.
2. Bring a dish to share
Even if you aren’t the hosting the party, you can still be a helpful guest and bring a snack or side to share!
Not sure what to bring? Our favorite shareables are inspired by some of Pusheen’s favorite snacks; Chips and salsa, homemade ice cream, and Pusheen stamped cookies are all great for sharing and snacking. Just don’t expect to have any leftover to throw in a doggie bag!
For the serious bakers out there, you can get inspired to try your hand at desserts like these delightful Sailor Pusheen cupcakes or Pugsheen Macarons cooked up by some of our adventurous fans.
If you bring a drink to share, we recommend bringing a few printable Pusheen Straw Umbrellas to get everyone in the festive mood. Construct a few ahead of time or bring them as a fun activity for everyone to make their own!
3. Create the perfect summer playlist
Creating a party playlist is an acquired skill, but we know you’re up to the challenge!
When selecting music for a party playlist, there’s a lot to take into consideration—Who’s at the party? Are you planning on an energetic event or a more chill outing? Do you play the hits or introduce your friends to your favorite new band? Answer these questions and search your music library to assemble the perfect playlist to score your summer memories to.
The next challenge is finding a way to start the music. If you’re hosting the party, this is easy, but if you’re not, then you have to get creative. A good wireless speaker should be small with good sound to reach the entire party, like the portable Pizza Pusheen Mini Speaker. If you’re feeling brave, set up your speaker, put that bad boy on loop, and just hit play.
If the playlist is a huge success, be prepared for a dance party to break out at any time. When in doubt, just make like Pusheen and shake your tail to the beat of the song!
4. Prepare for fireworks!
The party has begun to wind down and the sun is setting, which means it’s almost time for fireworks!
If you know ahead of time that a show is in the cards, make sure to bring everything you need to enjoy in comfort and style. When sprawling out on a blanket for a full view of the sky, the Pusheen & Stormy Throw Pillow is the perfect place to lay your head as you wait for the show to begin.
Before you get comfy though, remember to take care of your pets who might not be as big a fan of fireworks as you are. With all that taken care of, it’s time to sit back and enjoy some fireworks. Especially after such a successful party, you’ve earned it!

This week’s Fan Friday is going to the dogs! These Pugsheen macarons created by Stephanie are made with a dreamy raspberry rose buttercream filling and are so adorably bite-sized that they already have us begging for seconds. These pupsters make for the perfect finger-food to go along with her on-point Pugsheen manicure. Frankly, we find her style to be quite fetch-ing!

This is one kitty that really takes the cake!
What better way to finish off baking a delicious birthday cake than by using this Birthday Pusheen cake topper? This week’s Fan Friday showcases this adorable cake decoration crafted by Lynlee Beckett. This cake topper is oh so cute, we could just eat it up—literally! It’s no surprise since Lynlee makes all sorts of spectacular toppers for both cakes and cupcakes alike. Pusheen herself is looking pretty lovely with her little fondant paws and chocolate whiskers, and we can’t get over the tiny birthday presents and birthday hat accessories to fit the theme. We couldn’t possibly think of a sweeter way to celebrate a birthday with Pusheen!

One Seriously Cool Piece of Pusheen Fan Art
When the first ever Pusheen Café opened up earlier this year in collaboration with Kumoya, we were immediately smitten with how colorful and delicious every menu on the item looked. Artist Mary Herrera has captured the enticing energy of one of our favorite items from the café in this illustration of the Chocolate Mint Frappe. Every delicious detail is present in Mary’s drawing, from the cool minty texture of the ice cream, to the adorable polka-dot straw, and all the way to the delectable dusting of pink sugar on top—is anybody else getting hungry right now, or is it just us?

GET READY: The world’s first Pusheen cafe has arrived!

Pusheen has embarked on her biggest, cutest, and most delicious adventure yet! We’ve teamed up with Kumoya to open up the first ever Pusheen Café, and you won’t believe how cute it is!
Kumoya is an eatery located in Singapore that is known for curating outstanding themed dining experiences. Pusheen fans have been enjoying the adorable, delectable, and utterly instagrammable pop-up since the café opened its doors on January 6th, 2019. If you haven’t had a chance to visit yet, don’t fret, as the pop-up has been extended until April 15th to give feline foodies a few more chances to catch this experience before it’s gone!
The Pusheen Café is the most immersive and interactive Pusheen experience on the planet! Guests will be transported to a charming pastel paradise from the moment they step through the door. Pusheen is the star of the show, of course, and the decor is dotted with dozens of darling Pusheen accents and unique designs only found there.
Snuggle up with cuddly plushies while you peruse the menu and admire the marvelous pink walls, whimsical dining tables, and gorgeous murals. While guests enjoy the delectable feast of adorable decor, they are also treated to an actual feast of one-of-a-kind Pusheen treats! Like the chubby kitty herself, we take our snacking seriously. With that in mind, we were thrilled to partner with the queen of cute cooking, food artist Shirley Wong (aka: Little Miss Bento). Each dish on the menu is as tasty as it is beautifully presented. Shirley’s jaw-droppingly delightful dishes are unbearably cute and almost too pretty to eat! Almost…

One of our personal favorites from the positively scrumptious menu is the Pusheen-In-a-Bun Ebi Burger, featuring a crispy panko coated shrimp patty topped with goma mayo sauce, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato, sandwiched between a Bamboo Charcoal mantou bun.
We are also huge fans of the Pusheen Cat-on-a-Cloud Floating Joy Parfait, which is a show stopping platter of Pusheen themed delights. The dish includes a generous helping of strawberry Hokkaido soft serve ice cream with a meringue cloud, Pusheen cookie, macaron, and a mini swiss roll. As if that weren’t amazing enough already, the dessert is topped off with a pink lollipop, vanilla sable, meringue kisses, fresh strawberries, and a freshly made cotton candy backdrop.
After finishing the meal, guest have a chance to fulfill their dreams of taking Pusheen home with a delightful merchandise kiosk, fully stocked with plushies, stickers, hoodies, hat, and more! All perfect gifts for anyone with Pusheen on their wish list. Guests who feel extra lucky after dining can even take a shot at our Pusheen Claw Game to try to win a cuddly plush toy of their own!
